Our just-retired Narcotics Detection Canine was diagnosed with cancer on 3/19/08 and had his right rear leg amputated on 3/21/08. I am sad to say that Oden went passed away on August 4th, 2008. He was getting weak and had cancer lesions in his other hip and spine. Oden fought a valiant battle and is sorely missed by his family! He will balways be our hero. Here's a couple of pics of him: His ride home from the vet (The day after surgery... doesn't he look GREAT? He was SO happy to be back in a patrol car!)
