As a Special Education Teacher, I have summers off, so my plan is to sew, sew, sew in between our family summer adventures.  Watch for weekly stockings at Hyena Cart!

There's been a one year stay placed on the enforcement of CPSIA... that means the law won't go into effect until 2/10/2010 and it will the lawmakers time to refine the bill (hopefully)!  *yeah*

There is new legislation ~ CPSIA ~ that will most likely have an impact on FlutterbyBaby.  This Consumer Protection Act is in response to the toys that were exported from China to the US that were found to have high levels of lead. 

Beginning, February 10, 2009, ALL products that are made for children under the age of 12 will have to undergo independent testing... that is, each component of an item, model, and variation will have to analyzed by an independent lab.  This will be too costly for almost any WAHM, including FlutterbyBaby.
