What's new at FlutterbyBaby

Sunshine has signed on to run a marathon (yeah, the full monte... 26.2 miles) in San Diego in June, 2010. 

Why run a marathon?  One of those life goals, I guess... but the bigger reason is to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society by joining their Team in Training.  TNT trains together and each member is also expected to raise $2,500 in funds that go directly to LLS to fight the ugly diseases that rob lives way too early!

There's been am another one stay placed on the enforcement of CPSIA... that means the law won't go into effect until 2/10/2011 and it will give the lawmakers time to refine the bill (hopefully)!  *yeah*

There is new legislation ~ CPSIA ~ that will most likely have an impact on FlutterbyBaby.  This Consumer Protection Act is in response to the toys that were exported from China to the US that were found to have high levels of lead. 

Beginning, February 10, 2009, ALL products that are made for children under the age of 12 will have to undergo independent testing... that is, each component of an item, model, and variation will have to analyzed by an independent lab.  This will be too costly for almost any WAHM, including FlutterbyBaby.

Just turned 6-years-old!
